George W. Bush, a bad President. We all know how unintelligent the man is, but in the end, and at risk of insulting our President, he has a great deal of blood on his hands......and for what? Now you can throw a shoe at Bush. Good luck though, he's sneaky.
I love people who say that even though you disagree with Bush that this shoe thrower committed a great offense and this his actions were disrespectful. Are you kidding me? After all W. has done, why should anyone respect him?

Because if he is made to look like a fool and clown, so is the entire country.
Is he incompetent? Yes.
Is he arguably one of the worst, if not the worst President ever? Maybe.
But for another month.. he is President of the United States and should be treated as such.
When I first saw that clip, I laughed..Then I thought about how it affected the perception of the United States internationally, and it was not as funny.
His legacy as a moron is cemented. I do not need to see someone hit him with a boot, sneaker, or loafer to drive that point home.
Why should a criminal be treated with respect? Richard Nixon at one point was President of the United States? Dick Fuld was at one point CEO of Lehman?
A title doesn't mean a thing. What has he done to garner respect? You're going to have to make a better argument than that to convince me that just because a man has a title he should be respected. Actions speak louder than titles.
